Kenny Slaught Recognizes Santa Barbara’s Impressive History

Santa Barbara features many famous structures, like the timeless Hotel Virginia, historic El Pueblo Viejo district and the Old Mission’s pink towers. The County Courthouse showcases colorful murals, and a panoramic view can be seen from the clock tower and observation deck. The Lobero Theatre, started in 1873, was rebuilt by  George Washington Smith in the 1920’s. These buildings remained intact due to the city planner’s keen eye, and many others can be noticed when visiting the old districts.
