Kenny Slaught On Santa Barbara’s Impressive Architecture

A few of Santa Barbara’s popular buildings include the old Hotel Virginia, downtown located El Pueblo Viejo district and the Old Mission’s towers. The County Courthouse has flashy tiles showcasing paintings, and the clock tower and observation deck offer a great view of the area. The Lobero theatre hosts the city’s premier performances, and was first opened in 1873. The theatre was rebuilt by George Washington Smith in the 1920’s. These structures were preserved thanks to the founder’s careful planning, and can be noticed in the old districts.
