President Herbert Hoover Contributed Significantly to the Construction of Hoover Dam – Kenny Slaught

The project was built between 1931 and 1936, during the Great Depression, for $49 million. First called Boulder Dam, its name was later changed to Hoover Dam due to the contributions made by President Herbert Hoover. The project has a height of 221 meters, a length of 379 meters, and can generate 4,2 billion kWh 2 in a year. Kenny Slaught says that Hoover Dam has a full capacity of 35,000 cubic kilometers.
