Kenny Slaught Recognizes Professor David Low

David Low got his biology bachelor’s degree from UC San Diego, and his Ph.D. in cellular biochemistry from UC Irvine. The professor also received his master’s  from San Diego State University. In Stanford University, when he was a postdoctoral scholar, Low did molecular microbiology research in Stanley Falkow’s lab. Currently, Falkow is a professor emeritus in microbiology and immunology. Low first worked as a professor at the University of Utah Health Sciences Center for over a decade, and in 1998 came to the UCSB faculty. In 2013, he became a member of the American Academy of Microbiology, and in 2003, joined the  American Association for the Advancement of Science.
